We invite you to join our vibrant club!
Join us and participate in more than 25 regular activities and events! We'd love to meet you and share our adventures as newcomers to this wonderful place called Victoria. NCGV membership offers a members-only tab for all the information that only members can see, including our:
- membership roster, offering opportunities for almost 300 members to maintain contact with each other and make new friendships
- monthly luncheons with guest speakers and lots of time to meet with other club members
- biweekly BuddyUP email news sheet, where members can suggest and join opportunities to forge new connections, e.g. a potluck lunch, a neighbourhood coffee group, a beach walk, a games night
- newsletters, and our forum site, for information, local highlights and pictures of past events
- our calendar, listing all activities and events for the day and month, so that you can easily organize your NCGV time.
Membership fee for September 1st, 2024 to August 31st, 2025 is $40.

Why Join?
Our 300 members from across Canada and the world have access to monthly all-member luncheons and can participate in a wide range of more than 25 activities; plus, from our regular BuddyUP emails come opportunities for ad-hoc games, walks, swims, social and creative hobby gatherings. Activities are open to all members (though some attendance and sign-up limits may apply), some welcome partners, some are daytime activities and others run during evening hours. A password-protected, members-only website provides up-to-date, detailed information about NCGV events and activities, NCGV news items and the membership roster.
New members receive a name tag and an invitation to a meet-and-greet, which provides an orientation to NCGV.
Membership Criteria
An applicant must be female, a current resident of the Greater Victoria area (one of 14 municipalities), and must have arrived in Victoria within the past four years.
Further Information- Our year begins September 1st and ends August 31st of the following year.
- Annual dues are $40. Dues are payable online using our site's secure AffiniPay, which is easy to use and accepts Visa and Mastercard.
- Membership is for six consecutive years, beginning in the year the member first pays full dues.
- Members can attend and vote at our Annual General Meeting held each spring.
